ROBOT: 1 Fanuc M-20iA manipulator robot (R-30iA).
DESCRIPTION: The robot takes a coin from a store and forwards it to a press. Once the sequence of the press is over, the robot takes the part (s) of the press and the (the) deposit in a (the) cart (s).
MANDATE: Creation of a simulation video, before the project, to confirm to the client the possibility of reaching the desired cycle time. Creation of Grafcet sequences. Programming, tests on Roboguide simulator and in workshop then put into production. The robot programs are completely parametric (the robot positions are mainly calculated) according to the positioning of the punches & dies installed on the press. One of the challenges was to create a table of dimensions of the pieces versus the installation of punches & dies in order to be able to use it to calculate the positions of the robot. The other challenge was the search for three-dimensional calculations to apply for the removal and the taking of a type of punch & specific matrix whose front was not open along the entire length of the piece.
