Our customer wanted an application to allow them to improve the gathering of information about the quality and traceability of their products. With the information previously being gathered manually on a paper form then being entered manually into an Excel sheet, maintaining good quality information was a constant challenge. The application that we designed integrates perfectly into the management system for the packaging lines, receiving commands from the ERP that we also created.
PCI performed the following tasks
• Analyze the customer’s needs.
• Modelize the data and integrate the new tables into the customer’s existing databases.
• Program the data entry screens that could rapidly and easily be used by the operators, using touch screen displays and bar code readers.
