ROBOTS: 3 Kuka manipulator robots, KR-600, KR-210 and KR-180 (KRC4).
DESCRIPTION: The KR-600 takes the piece out of a press, moves it to the drying station and then drills the holes and hangs it on a support. The KR-210 takes the part of this support, soaks it in a wash basin, rinses it and then deposits it on another support. The KR-180 takes the part on this support to take it out of the cell.
MANDATE: Optimize the production of the first part model and then program two new part models in the cell. One of the major challenges was programming 600Kg robot movements in a small space with automatic tool changes of a very long cantilever tool. Once the robot was deployed up, the tip of the tool reached about 6 meters.
