Big River Steel (www.bigriversteel.com) is a new steel plant located in Arkansas that has been completed on December 10, 2016. The plant wants to be as automated as possible from order taking to delivery through the planning and quality assurance. SMS Seimag has been mandated to take care entirely of Level 0 at Level 3 (Production levels of the floor). Subsequently a multitude of software focused on the automation of the processes were set up. The cornerstone to take care of all communications has been entrusted to SHIFT Group to ensure the smooth running of the site.
